The story

Why "Graduate Fiber"?

Because this little yarn business has one very specific job: getting me across the graduation stage of my Physician Assistant program.

Between tuition, clinical rotations, and everything in between, the numbers get scary fast — and picking up a regular job isn't really an option when your weeks are already spoken for.

But fiber has always been where my hands go when my head is full. Somewhere between a stressful exam block and a bag of raw fleece, an idea took shape: what if the thing that keeps me sane could also help keep me enrolled?

So that's the deal: you get honest, small-batch yarn and fiber. I get one semester closer to being able to introduce myself as a PA.

Every skein, every braid of fiber, every market table — it all goes toward tuition, books, and board exams. When I graduate, Graduate Fiber will have earned its name twice over.

Thank you for being part of this — truly. Whether you buy a skein at a market, share the newsletter with a friend, or just stop by to chat about wool, you're helping me get there.
